Villa Carlotta

by car
can take you to
St. Moritz, 45 minutes
to the lakeside city of
Lugano
in
Switzerland and approximately
one hour
to
Milan. Or, once on the shores of
Lake Como

boat-trips
either on the
Hydrofoil
("Ali Scafo", in
Italian language), or the more
leisurely
"Battello
-
Ferry". An alternative is the "Traghetto"
(car ferry) which runs between
Menaggio,
Cadennabia,
Bellagio,
Varenna, enabling you to
discover some of the
other
shores
of
Como
Lake by
